Hi everyone! A glorious morning here at Bony Mountain! I do love Autumn-but we sure do need some rain, wow! its really very dry, very dusty, grass is all turned brown. So lots of watering to keep our gardens going, we have a wonderful new Gazebo from Mr Bunnings, its great, Lots of gardening jobs , re potting, mulching, but out in the paddocks, all our wildlife corridors looking good. Thank goodness they are all established trees, shrubs, lots of bird activity too ,our gorgeous parrots, Pidgeon’s, Apostles, Maggies , Kookaburras, some wattle birds, and many others. We have quite a family of Kangaroos too-love seeing them in the paddock, Bookings are steady, I think the fuel issues are causing some anxiety- I am an optimist, and bear in mind Bony Mountain will not be cancelled! we will power on regardless! A late inclusion this year -will be Penny & Roger ILott- local well known folk duo from Stanthorpe. They will perform on Saturday -we are excited to welcome this talented pair. Also new look Hillbilly Goats- will be our feature band- they have been touring! Also Virginia Peter & Lynette-& Jim- the fabulous Coads- Warwick Pipe Thistle Band on Friday night- Sat has full Program with Geoff Brown-Dianne Lindsay- Lawrie & Shelley Minson and much more. Your favourite funny man, Errol will kick off your day with a laugh. Mick Engeles-all set with his famous Ukulele School- from Tuesday -all week. We will have a Hairdresser here onsite- Fran will be here on the weekend with her Doggie wash!! then our famous Doggie Parade on Sunday- with Awards/prizes. an exciting weekend. Norma will launch her new Album (on CD) during her Friday night performance- Norma was in the Studio last week- recording several new songs-first single will be Tennessee Waltz- a classic old song! plus a few new originals.
